INTRODUCTION

The Children’s Society is a charity that supports vulnerable children and young people. The Children’s Society approached ExtraDigital after a full re-brand which extended across the entirety of their literature and marketing platforms, including their online presence.

The Children’s Society came to ExtraDigital to update the look and feel of their online shop and to incorporate their new branding. The shop was to be built on the ExtraCMS and needed to allow site editors to make frequent changes, including updating products, adding pages and editing shop categories.

The online shop is used to sell fundraising essentials but also helps to generate donations through the selling of Christmas cards and other branded material. It needed to be user-friendly and encourage users to donate. The shop also had some complex integration with their stock and fulfilment system which was used to notify the fulfilment company of orders placed.
