ExtraDigital were tasked with creating a German version of their website gobalrecycling.eu. With in-house German speakers and a development team aware of the demands of a German site and audience, we relished this next challenge.

The project was purely a translation and development brief since Global Recycling were happy with the EU site’s current design. Time was of the essence, so we quickly put together a replica dev site and began alterations for a German audience.

As expected, when translating, we found some cases of words and sentences within the design becoming longer once translated; in this case, we adjusted the design accordingly to make sure the longer phrases didn’t negatively impact the design.
